What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is many things. It is primarily a fitness methodology developed by Greg Glassman, focussing on constantly varied programming using functional-based movements, performed at relatively high intensity.

CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In
fact, the communal aspect of CF is a key component of why it’s so effective.

Class components include: bodyweight, resistance, weight training, gymnastics, cardio and more!

What is CrossFit Lite?

Our Lite Class is an opportunity to enjoy the many benefits of CrossFit training in a less intimidating setting, as we focus on simpler movements and equipment.

This class has been designed for beginner to intermediate athletes of any shape and size and allows more time for learning while ensuring you leave sweaty and smiling.

We spend time improving both your metabolic conditioning and strength endurance in this class by testing your limits through high-volume exercises, weight training, and cardio.

FOUNDATIONS

Entry to our Lite class begins with our Foundations Program. This 4x 1hr session Personal Training program will introduce you to the movements of CrossFit, the community and the culture at CFQB, and ensure you feel confident and prepared to join a group class. In Foundations, you will:

* Get to know our Lite Class Trainers
* Discuss and assess any physical limitations you may have
* Learn how to adapt and modify many of the common movements seen in a CrossFit class

Upon registration, you will receive a CFQB t-shirt or tank top! After you have attended all 4 sessions, you can sign up for a monthly membership and join classes.
